Highlights

The LodgeThe traditional two story wooden structure main area is simply but elegantly decorated providing a perfect spot to sit back and absorb the beauty of Tarangire. The views of the Minyonyo Pools below from one of the many sunset decks are spectacular, and the little extras arranged in order to take full advantage of these idyllic moments really make the experience. From evening drinks around a camp fire, to the personalised service and excellent food, this is a prime example of an old world safari camp.

AccommodationWith only 10 tents, scattered along either side of the main area, Oliver’s provides a warm atmosphere with communal dinners and personalised service. The tents are raised wood and thatched structures with canvas tents fit into them. They are rustic and simple but have a classic safari charm with the neutral colours and cosy adornments. The wooden terraces outside the rooms boast panoramic views of the bush and flood plains below. The en-suites have indoor showers, double basin sinks and the most spectacular outdoor showers!

Activities and AdventuresIn line with other Asilia properties, Oliver’s is known for excellent guiding and activities. Not far from this exclusive camp guests can explore the vibrant Silale Swamp where herds of elephants can be seen venturing into the water to escape the heat of the midday African sun. They offer walking safaris, night drives and for an additional cost, Fly Camping and balloon safaris can be arranged from this camp.
