Night drives are offered in a number of parks and reserves and are an exciting alternative to the traditional day time game drives. There are plenty of nocturnal animals that can only be spotted after dark or on very early morning game drives. Predators such as lions and leopards prefer hunting at night so these drives can be very eventful! Listening to an array of animal calls while scanning the bush for glowing eyes can be quite a thrilling experience! Night Game drives are only permitted in certain areas, generally private reserves, so the options are limited but we highly recommend Tarangire National Park for a memorable night drive.
