The LodgeIn Nomad’s efforts to protect the environment and maintain good relationships with the nearby Maasai village, they have made the entire camp completely removable. The owners have managed to achieve this without forfeiting comfort and style. The main tent has two large and cosy lounge areas and a spacious dining room, simply decorated with wooden furniture, welcoming fireplaces, comfy sofas and beautiful authentic African art. There is a veranda running the length of the communal tent from which to absorb the scenic beauty of Entamanu’s unique location. The food and service at Entamanu is excellent, and the staff make guests feel at home from the minute they arrive.

AccommodationThe 7 elevated canvas tents in this camp, including one family unit, all have breathtaking views of the crater from their wooden terraces where visitors can unwind and take in the wilderness beyond. The tents interiors are elegantly decorated with polished wooden furniture, calming neutral colours and plenty of wool and sheepskin blankets to keep you warm during the cool nights. All tents have a spacious ensuite bathroom with flush toilets and hot/cold showers.

Activities and AdventuresMost guests stay at Entamanu Camp for the sole purpose of visiting the Ngorongroro Crater for driving safaris during the day. However, there are quite a few other activities offered here for guests that would like to do something different. Guided drives and walks to other parts of the Ngorongoro area can be arranged, as well as guided walks to surrounding Massai villages, still remarkably unchanged by tourist visitors unlike some others. This provides a wonderful insight into their unique culture, traditions and practices.
