This fantastic, relatively new camp is in the center of Tarangire, an area with an abundance of game yet very secluded. Owned and run by Nomad, known for operating some of the best lodges in Tanzania, this small lodge benefits from a unique location, close to the stunning Silale Swamp, while offering excellent guiding, game viewing and service. Tarangire is one of the lesser known regions in the north and is well worth the journey, with huge herds of elephants, endless baobabs, a wide variety of activities on offer, and very few visitors. Kuro camp’s 6 tents are spacious and open, built into thatch roof structures featuring covered verandas in front with directors’ chairs and a small sofa. Beautifully decorated with neutral colours and subtle red tones, the tents blend seamlessly with the bush backdrop. They are all furnished with comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms including flush toilets, plus indoor and outdoor showers.

Day 4-5 Entamanu Camp - Ngorongoro Crater Rim (1 Night, All-in)
Depart from Tarangire in your 4WD safari vehicle with a delicious picnic lunch, drive through Lake Manyara National Park and up the Rift Valley towards the Crater, with unrivalled views throughout your journey! Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater to explore its’ diverse and abundant wildlife! Then drive to Entamanu Camp, on the Crater rim.
Situated on the remote western rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, this lodge offers breathtaking panoramic views. It is the only place that you can watch the sun rise over the crater and set over the vast Serengeti plains, behind the camp. The degree of style and charm achieved in Nomad’s Entamanu is not an easy feat in light of the, at times, challenging climate on the crater rim; particularly as it has been constructed with no permanent structures and with locally sourced material; built to fit around the flora but not intrude upon it. For guests looking for a small exclusive camp with excellent service we think this is an idyllic base from which to visit the crater. The 7 elevated canvas tents in this camp all have mesmerising views of the crater from the wooden terraces where you can unwind and absorb the wilderness beyond. The tents interiors are elegantly decorated with polished wooden furniture, calming neutral colours and plenty of wool and sheepskin blankets to keep you warm during the cool nights. All tents have a spacious ensuite bathroom with flush toilets and hot/cold showers.
Activities Offered: Driving Safaris, Walking Safaris, Maasai Village Trips
